| edit vi /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo |

| yum install gss make automake |
| download (wget in /usr/local/src),tar,..., install and run ser2net |
| Enable port 3001 for IP adress, iptables |
| iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 3001 --syn -j ACCEPT |
| service iptables save and restart |
| Run VM, for example W2k |
| Install Virtual Serial Port from HW group and configure |

| Connect pins 2 and 3 for RS-232 (DB9 connector) |
| Run the Hyper terminal and try it |
